A fantastically sparkly little vintage Diamond engagement ring dating to the 1920's or so and a very pretty find! All original and nicely shaped to hug the finger, the Diamonds are a gorgeous quality, being white and glittery, each cut everso slightly differently from the other in the Old European way... this adding extra individuality. The setting to the gems is of fine Platinum and is fitted to an 18ct yellow gold gallery and tapered band.
Always special and ethically sound as a choice, you'll never see another exactly the same! There are workshop stamps for '18CT' and 'PT' inside the band alongside a maker's stamp 'K&D' and as such it was possibly made by Kendal and Dent of Cheapside in London whose mark was registered in the 1880's.
The ring size is presently an 'M and a half' or '6.5' but is easily altered for fit. Just leave a note on your order form. The combined Diamond weight is judged at around 0.30 assessed using a Schindler gauge whilst in the setting.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
