Circa 1900, an antique five stone hand cut Diamond engagement ring, a wonderful choice for the history lover. Five olden Diamond boulders graduate across the finger to whisper a twinkly treasure which is gentler than the harsh glitter of modern Diamonds. Interestingly the hand cut Diamonds date to an earlier time and were recycled in the making of this ring (of great comfort if the ethicality of Diamonds is a concern). They were cut in the old mine way (read about it in our BLOG article here) and have a fabulous and quirky individuality to each stone (see their chunky profiles in our side view pics).
Mounted in 18ct Yellow Gold with a decorative gallery and shoulders after the Arts and Crafts ideal and with a fine beaded Platinum setting to the gems. Inside the band is the original '18CT' workshop stamp. The ring size is a 'O' or '7' as is but it could be altered to suit quite easily, so leave a message on your order form to request this free service.
The carat weight is very difficult to assess without unsetting the gems, but we would say around 0.65ct combined.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift. You can download our handy ring sizing guide here, but don't hesitate to contact us if you need further help with this. If visiting us size adjustments can usually be done in around an hour-ish.
