A very pleasing antique Victorian era cross pendant set with super quality cabochon Turquoises which have a beautifully subtle variation in hue and are likely from the old mines in Persia, nowadays known as Iran. An important gemstone for centuries, this bright and clear blue was very much valued and held as a protective amulet, and so very apt in this Gothic styled Cross. This special jewel would make a precious addition to any jewel box and we expect it to be much beloved.
Measuring 3cm by 2cm all is fashioned in quality 18ct yellow Gold with a a tactile smooth finish.
