A picture of ultimate feminine loveliness; the two gems being closely associated with Venus and the moon, this antique Pearl and Diamond 'Toi et Moi' crossover ring would have been very much coveted in her day. Circa 1890's and nicely hand crafted in 18ct yellow Gold with a fine coronet of Platinum to the plump old hand cut Diamond and laid across the shoulders.
The sparklesome old Diamond is cut in the wonderful 'Old European' style, by hand but with more perfect faceting than was possible before. Read about the Old European cut here. It measures at least 0.50ct (judged using a Schindler gauge) and is a gorgeous example of its kind being both clean and white, accented by three older stones to each elegantly curved shoulder. The Pearl is a fine hazy creaminess and a charming counterpoint to the blazing glitter of the Diamond (we have not tested it, it could be natural but because we don't know we will say it is Cultured).
The ring size is an 'S' or '9.25' but can easily be altered to suit if you leave a message for us on your order form.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
