A magical rainbowed trio of fine ovalled Crystal Opal cabochons set with bright twinkling hand cut Diamonds between. Entirely crafted in 18ct Yellow Gold to a style which was the most popular at the time; the three Australian Opals have the full spectrum of rainbow colours and change bewitchingly from every view. Australian opals were first introduced to the UK in 1889 when a shipment of Queensland Opals was bought to London and these fast became very desirable, their captivating beauty inspiring jewellers and the public alike. The open belcher style setting and carved shoulders influenced by the Arts and Crafts Movement which captured the hearts of artisans and craftspeople in Britain at the time.
The ring size is an 'M and a half/6.5/13/52' as is and could possibly be altered a couple of sizes or so upwards but not smaller owing to the width of the setting which measures 2cm across. We would suggest this is a dress ring rather than one to wear every day.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift. You can download our handy ring sizing guide here, but don't hesitate to contact us if you need further help with this. If visiting us size adjustments can usually be done in around an hour-ish.
