A delightful and dramatic antique late Georgian era bracelet consisting of seven rows of hand faceted deep blood red Pyrope Garnets (often referred to as Bohemian Garnets) which have a gorgeous gothic sparkle as the light passes over the surfaces of the beads. The bracelet fastens with a decorative floral clasp of bright golden Pinchbeck topped tombac.
Circa 1820's, a romantic jewel which would have taken many, many hours to create and as such is somewhat of a mediation upon time; to wear with plush velvets and feathers.
The bracelet measures 6.5 inches when fastened but has a little give as it has been newly rethreaded. It lies 3.5cm wide on the wrist and closes with the super original handmade clasp.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
