Circa 1920's, a delightful and verry pretty Diamond pendant in the 'lavaliere' style which was the most fashionable at the time. Skilfully crafted by hand, at the time recycling a selection of glittery older hand cut Diamonds; a chunkily distinctive cushion cut to the centre (this measures at least 0.40ct), three small twinkles from hand cuts to the articulated drop, and a beautiful antique warm Champagne hued Pear-cut Diamond to the pendant (measures at around 0.30ct and which seems to be in an older original setting). All unique and precious this piece would make a most lovely and treasured special gift. A fine delicacy, the Platinum setting is discreet and crisp, all clever work as Platinum is more difficult to work with than the softer metals, and the very fine Platinum trace chain measures 18 inches fastening with a traditional bolt ring.
