In the charming naturalistic style which was popular in the Edwardian era and influenced by the Arts and Crafts Movement, this sweetheart antique Diamond ring dates to 1908, being hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office and made by the firm of Solomon Blanckensee & Co of Birmingham's famous jewellery quarter.
The leafy motif to the centre is hand carved and set with old hand cut Diamonds which twinkle prettily across the finger; the scrolled ends leading to a tapered band; all of rich 18ct Yellow Gold.
An original choice as an engagement or wedding band and an ethical one too as no new resources are used and this little band just continues her existence to a new life.
The ring size could easily be altered to suit for free. It measures a 'K' or '5.25' as is.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift. You can download our handy ring sizing guide here, but don't hesitate to contact us if you need further help with this. If visiting us size adjustments can usually be done in around an hour-ish.
