A beautiful classic cultured Pearl necklace for the aficionado. The distinctive subtle golden lustre seen in the Southsea Pearl with delightful natural variation in shade to each, they are of a supremely lovely quality with very smooth and thick nacre. At 19 inches, it is something between a 'Princess' and a Matinee' length, very glamorous and with the ability to elevate any outfit to instant chic. The clasp is of the fish hook safety variety and set with a cross of tiny Diamonds it is dated to 1989 and hallmarked as 9ct Gold at Sheffield.
The 55 gleaming satiny 6mm Cultured Pearls, one growing to each Pinctada Maxima Oyster, the formation process taking between 2 and 4 years — the longest of any cultured Pearl makes these precious and rarer than others. They will be accompanied by an Insurance Valuation certificate and arrive in a quality presentation case.
