A touching and delicate hand crafted Georgian ring in the sentimental style capturing yearning and loss. Pieces such as this were worn as a way to keep a loved one close and treasure their spirit within a tangible jewel, and this piece also has small pieces of hair worked as a braid behind the hand carved Gold lettering which spells 'MB'.
A gentle marquise or shuttle shape in 18ct Gold with a reeded band, this beautiful antique jewel can still evoke potent emotion and carries those feelings lovingly down the centuries.
We have re-polished it to our best ability, but here are still small scratches to the glassed compartment, evidence of past wear . The ring size can't be altered and measures around a 'J' or '4.75'.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
