Recycled Antique Mine Cut Diamond Engagement Ring

Recycled in our workshop, an antique mine cut Diamond set now for a new beginning as the luvliest original and 100% ethical engagement ring. Very special and one we both are entirely in LOVE with, the olden Diamond is a fizzy pale Champagne hue and it dates from the late 18th century into the mid 19th century in cutting style. Read about this cut of Diamond here.  We've not taken it out of its setting but have measured it with a Schindler gauge as 0.50ct. It is nicely clean and full of quirky personality as it was cut with simple tools and judged by the cutters eye in response to the original crystalline shape of the natural Diamond. So touching and a treasure to take onto a new future...

Mounted in a later fine Platinum milgrain rim circa 1910; and now a century later set upon a custom 18ct yellow Gold band with gentle scrolled shoulders. Just wonderful and a super example of recycling and re-imaging down the centuries. 

The ring size measures as a 'K and a half' or '5.5' as is but we can easily adjust to suit if you leave a message on your order form. The box shown is for display only but we will provide a pretty velveteen lined box for presentation.
