A uniquely lovely antique 18ct Yellow Gold Sapphire and Diamond ring dating to 1897 and in the romantic 'Arts' style which was much beloved at the time. The gently waving band crosses the finger beautifully and is set with gorgeous old hand cut electric blue Sapphires and sparkly white Diamonds. Just adorable and a precious example of the kind of artistry and aesthetic which was appreciated in the Arts and Crafts Movement... art for art's sake.
The full hallmark which assures its 18ct Gold quality was applied at the Birmingham Assay Office in 1897. Read more about the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter in our BLOG article here. A size 'M' or '6.25' as is we can alter a little to suit if you leave a message on your order form.
