In the romantic fashion of the time, this elaborate antique Pyrope Garnet and Wild Pearl ring is a fanciful creation! So much work has gone into its making; with hand engraving and twisted wirework scrolls to the edging... all to ornament the rich Garnet and miniature Seed Pearls; with beautiful effect. Dated to 1888 with a full hallmark for 9ct Gold which was applied at the Birmingham Assay Office and there is also a maker's mark for John Wilkinson of Mount Street, Birmingham.
The ring size is a 'Q' or '8' as is and we may be able to alter a small amount to suit.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
