Circa 1930's, a pristine vintage Diamond solitaire engagement ring which features a gloriously glittery hand cut Old European style natural Diamond mounted in an artisan made petalled mount of fine Platinum with an 18ct White Gold band. Touching the heart; every little aspect in the crafting of this vintage engagement ring shows consideration and skill...
Fashioned of old; a most wonderful example of the beautiful Old Euro cut with really quite wonderfully precise faceting but still retaining the vestiges of the fact that it was cut by hand in the tiniest waves in the edge bruting and very slight bias to one side; aspects we LOVE to see and which add such individuality! Immensely and fizzily sparkly! As this is such a splendid stone we have had the Diamond unset and evaluated by the Birmingham Assay Office Gemlab who have graded it as 1.25ct with an 'i' colour with VS2 clarity; both a lovely white stone and with nice clarity. Really very special! A precious possession to celebrate a new (or old) romance and a treasure to hand down in your family as rings of this quality don't come along every day.
The ring size can easily be adjusted to suit but measures an 'O' or '7' as is. We will provide an insurance valuation certificate alongside the Anchor Grading Certificate.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
