A totally FABULOUS and fascinating vintage Emerald and Diamond cocktail ring dating to the 1970's. Hand crafted in Platinum to an adventurous Modernist design which would have been tremendously exciting at the time and would have been fashioned by an artisan jeweller. There are beautifully shaped curved elements carefully placed to contrast with the angularity of the square section wire. The gems are twin best quality Columbian Emeralds, each measuring at around 0.40ct and they sit either side of a sparkly recycled hand cut Diamond.
The centre Diamond measures at 0.40ct judged in the setting with a Schindler gauge and is beautifully white and clean, cut in the Old European way with gorgeously even facets and a captivatingly glittery sparkle; they have that extra special bluey green which is so desired and they are exceptionally clean with just a touch of mossy 'jardin'.
The ring size is a small 'i' or '4.25' as is but we can alter a little to suit if you leave a message on your order form.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
