Dating to circa 1820, a blessedly tiny little antique brooch in the form of a Daisy, an orange centre Paste with a frame of miniature hand faceted Pastes set over Silver foil as the glittery petals. Such pieces are often sentimental, being gifted by loved ones and this would explain her preservation down the many generations since that time. Hand crafted in Silver and over a Gold back, the whole measures 16mm across by 12mm, and closes with a simple pin and 'C' clasp. Read our blog article about antique Fichu Pins here.
