A very pretty antique Victorian name brooch for 'Ida' dating to the 1880's and fairly likely made in Birmingham's famous jewellery quarter. The name is framed by Ivy leaves which in the Victorian language of flowers symbolised ties of family and affection and all is hand crafted being cut out and engraved by hand in Silver with a light faded Gold wash.
Measures an inch and a half across and fastens with a traditional 'C' clasp. Measures an inch and a half across.
