An endless fascination, a magical and mesmerising antique Victorian deep olive green natural Sapphire ring. Highly precious and rare, the colours seem to sparkle a change of hue a little under different lighting conditions giving an otherworldly captivation. We imagine her worn with crumpled velvets poring over historical illuminated manuscripts...
The gems are set in an unusual and entirely custom hand made mount of 18ct yellow Gold, making us think of the Gothic Revivalist period led by Auguste Pugin in the mid 19th century, but she could easily be of a later conception.
The ring size could easily be altered to suit, but measures as a 'K and a half' or '5.5' as is. The stones have a identification certificate from the London Assay Office. The combined weight of the gems we estimate at around 3.5 - 4 carats.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
