An unusual antique Georgian era circular pendant set with a beautiful piece of mossy Agate framed by a crescent moon of gently lustrous wild Pearls.
Dendritic Agate is a type of chalcedony from the Agate family with distinctive inclusions called “dendrites,” which are a mixture of manganese or iron oxide minerals trapped inside the gemstone when the Agate formed. When a white Agate features darker dendrite inclusions, the effect can emulate a striking wintery scene of snow blanketing tree branches.
Circa 1820's and with a romantic allure which lends her a fondness which we love. Mounted in rosy 9ct Gold it may once have had a locket section to the reverse and so we’ve priced with this in mind. It measures an inch across and we have suspended her on a rose gold vermeil chin measuring 28 inches.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
