We are both completely smitten with this majestical antique Diamond pendant! In the Art Nouveau style, it dates to the closing years of the 19th century and perfectly captures the romantic ideals of the movement. The floralesque swirl was hand fashioned in Silver and all set with antique hand cut Diamonds (recycled and dating down the centuries), has charming movement and is a delightfully compelling creation. A magical fragment of beauty, forever precious.
The old mine cut Diamond set to the drop dates to an earlier time and measures at around 0.75ct judged with a Schindler gauge. A jewel which has seen some years; the snake chain drop is a reused part from times before, and the Diamond drop may once have been a stickpin, but all comes together beautifully and adds to the (imaginary) story. For scale, the whole measures a touch over two inches and 2cm across.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
