A classic solitaire engagement ring capturing an exceptionally lovely cushiony shaped old European cut Diamond, weighing 1.20ct with a wonderfully captivating sparkle and which we have had graded as a K colour, SI 1 clarity on an AnchorCert. Beautifully cut by hand in the late 19th century with what was then the latest technology, the distinctively large facets catch the light magically in a glittering array at each tiny movement of the hand. Very special! An antique natural Diamond is the best ethical choice as no new resources are being used and one also has the benefit of uniqueness and personality.
Crafted by an artisan jeweller with a prettily scalloped gallery, 'chaton' setting and finely tapered band with fine hand shaped circular chenier supports with the French dog's head mark for Platinum (used 1912-1994) on the outer band, this style of setting to the stone is particularly French.
The size is an 'M' at '6.25' but we could alter to suit. The Certificate will accompany this ring along with a Valuation for Insurance.
