Lovely quality, mounted in 18ct yellow Gold and on a twisted pin of 9ct Gold, this antique stick or cravat pin is shown in its original box and would make a really nice gift. The central Pyrope Garnet is faceted for extra glimmer and surrounded by six rare and very old hand cut early brilliant Diamonds (recycled when this piece was made). So unusual, all hand made and dating perhaps to the 1860's and inspired by the Gothic aspirations of Auguste Pugin, the father of modern medievalism. Measures 6.5cm lengthwise and the ornament 1cm. Presented in the original silk and velvet lined antique box.
