An exceptional vintage Jadeite and Diamond 'ballerina' style cocktail ring dating to the 1960's. An incredibly fashionable statement at the time, such beautiful pieces are scarce to see nowadays. Entirely hand crafted, all the work is of the highest standard and all is beautifully balanced to sit neatly upon the finger for maximum impact.
The splendid oval cabochon Moss in Snow Jadeite has been certificated by GCS Gemmological Services as no treatment and the weight is estimated at 8 carats, measuring 15mm by 11.3mm by 5.2mm. Around 1.80ct of fabulously white and pure Diamonds are skilfully set around the fanned 'skirt' of the design making an impressive display (examine our images from each view, this piece really is a work of art!). There are rounds, emerald cuts and marquise cut Diamonds, every one pure white and icily clean.
Marked with only a workshop stamp 'PLAT' for Platinum inside the band we sadly have no clues as to who fashioned this very special ring.
The ring size is a 'K and a half' or 'L' /'5.5' but because of the open under gallery can fit a larger hand and is easy to alter upwards in size.
24.68mm by 19.75mm with the shoulders wide and tapering to the band.
