Prettily proportioned, this antique Edwardian beaut dates to around 1910 and displays all of the refined qualities and elegance we associate with jewels from the era. Wonderful quality, the crisply defined design resembles a floral cross and is crafted in 15ct Gold (only used in Britain between 1854-1932). The deeply coloured and much sought after Persian Turquoise is accented by the dark glimmer of teeny, tiny Rose-cut Diamonds and all creates an unforgettable impression. Pieces such as this are becoming elusive and this precious jewel would make the loveliest personal talisman, Turquoise being trusted by the ancients as a protective amulet.
On a beautifully flattering 16 inch period chain of 9ct Gold with gorgeous lover's knot links which fastens with a barrel clasp. It has a tiny dink from the stamping of the '9CT'. The pendant itself measures 2cm across excluding the decorative bale.
