Oh, how many ways can I tell you I love you?! The epitome of late Victorian romanticism, a sweet and romantic crescent moon brooch studded with ravishingly rich old Burmese Rubies, hand cut Diamonds and a milky lustrous Natural Saltwater Pearl. The gemstones are all hand cut and of the loveliest and brightest quality and graduated in size to fit this charming trinket.
An oft used motif in jewellery of this period; the crescent moon, historically symbolising female energy and the mysteries of the night came to represent the honey-moon and was incorporated into bridal jewellery of the time. All skilfully created in 18ct yellow gold, this luscious jewel has a precious meaning and one which longs to be appreciated.
Measuring 4.5cm end to end, the crescent itself 2cm across and fastening with a classic 'c' clasp and safety chain for security.
