Completely stunning, this romantic vintage 'toi et moi' diamond ring is a real show-stopping sparkler! Each of the blazingly beautiful old hand cut Diamonds measures at least 0.05ct making the combined weight around 0.75ct. Set in fine Platinum with milgrain detailing, they sit comfortably aside each other across the finger in a dazzling display. The design, first seen in France and known as 'Toi et Moi' is said to represent two souls clasped in an embrace between the curving arms of the band. Quite a lovely sentiment and very popular in the first few decades of the 20th century, we believe this ring dates to the 1930's/40's.
Entirely crafted by hand to snugly fit the curve of the finger, the ring size is on the larger side as is and measures as a 'P and a half' or '7.75' but could be altered within reason to suit. We will include an Insurance Valuation Certificate with this piece.
