Splendid Antique Emerald & Diamond Engagement Ring

An especially lovely antique late Victorian floral Emerald and hand cut Diamond cluster ring. A glittering sensation on the hand, this verdant bloom will be forever full of meaning and romance; the gently shaped oval flatters the finger and the delicate carved leafesque shoulders add to the whole impression of enchantment. Hand crafted in muted 18ct yellow Gold, each of the olden Diamonds was shaped by hand from the original crystal and still reflects the natural form somewhat, each slightly different from each other and faceted in the Old Mine way. 

The intense colour of the Emerald is quite breath-taking, and on close inspection one can see the characteristic 'Jardin' inclusions which the gemstone is known for. They add to the mossy loveliness. The beautiful Emerald has been repolished by our lapidarist and weighs 0.90ct; the Diamonds each measure around 0.16ct judged with a Schindler gauge in the setting and so a combined weight of 1.28ct. 

Choosing a ring such as this for your special occasion is perfectly ethically sound and entirely original. The ring size is an 'L' or '5.75' as is but could easily be altered if you leave a message on your order form. The cluster measures 13.44mm by 12.40mm.
