A scarce and special antique ring with a mysterious story. A precious survivor from two centuries gone, we rarely see these type of hand cut Diamonds nowadays. Down the generations appreciated for their worth and beauty, the olden hand faceted Diamonds are likely from the old Indian mines they are as clean, white and radiant as one could wish for, just observe their squarey shapes which were cut in times before electricity and modern technology and set in the Georgian style in Silver pie crust collets. Reset at some time on a later 9ct Gold band which is fully hallmarked to 1920 (Chester Assay Office), perhaps to replace the original worn band, this is a delicate piece and should be worn with great care as the lady who once owned her would likely have done little more than light embroidery and playing the pianoforte.
The cluster measures 12mm by 14mm. The ring size is just over an 'N' or '6.5' and unfortunately we're unable to alter. The cluster measures half an inch across.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
