A smoothed Cornicello of deep red Sicilian Coral formed from the tip of the Corallium Rubrum. Coral is a protected species and this piece is antique. Seen in antique portraits, red Coral has a long and ancient history and tradition worn as a protection against ill health and the promotion of fertility.
