Worn in remembrance of a loved one passed, this sublime antique late Georgian brooch would have been a preciously constant comfort to it's wearer enabling her to keep her departed close at heart. Behind the rock crystal panel is a twist of hair; a tangible memento, and surrounding the central panel are a bouquet of prettily hand carved natural Coral roses symbolising love (coral being the colour of blood). Beautifully hand made in every aspect, this is a super piece for the collector; a reminder of the inevitable cycle of life, or as a sweet echo down the centuries to be worn again if a loved one has passed.
The whole measures 2cm by 2.5cm and fastens with a classic 'C' clasp.
