Dating to the mid 1800's this collectable antique buckle we believe to have been made in the factory of Matthew Boulton whose speciality was this particular style of Neoclassical accessory. Laboriously but skilfully handmade, each of the faceted Steel studs has been shaped by hand. On a wide Velvet band, it takes on a new life as a unique bracelet. The buckle measures 4cm by 3cm.
