Dating to the 1940's or so and consisting of a necklet, two matching bracelets and a pair of dress pins or brooches, this suite by Bernard Instone, a British Arts & Crafts jeweller with a long and diverse career who mostly took his inspiration from the English countryside with motifs including leaves and berries.
All of Silver, the delightful pastel hues of this set are accented by the occasional faceted Marcasite around the garlanded necklace, trailing flower'd bracelets and wreath-like arrangement of the brooches.
The necklet measures 15 inches when fastened; the bracelets 7 inches and the brooches 3.75cm across. Read further about Bernard Instone here.
