Circa 1840's, an antique watch style picture locket of loveliest quality and is ornamented in a most elaborate fashion with a design of budding Acanthus and fancified scrollery including a blooming Rose signifying LOVE. all very romantic and beautifully conceived. It can be worn with either the glassed or solid side showing and opens to hold two pictures. 

It is of a non tarnishing base metal such as tombac and gives an impression of solid Gold. It would have been a most fashionable accessory back in the day. 

It measures 4cm lengthwise excluding the holding ring.

International Delivery
