Circa 1870's and much loved in her lifetime, this antique Victorian Ruby and Emerald ring has a romantic beauty which shows in the fine work taken in her creation. There is fine Cannetille work to the setting of the gemstones; three old pinky toned hand faceted Rubies and two bright Emeralds, with beautiful hand engraving to the fancily shaped band of 15ct Gold.
An adorable combination with a sweet petiteness, she has been loved and worn; please note there are old repairs to the underside of the band and we have priced with this in mind.
The ring size is a 'J' or '4.75' as is and we're unable to alter due to the previous repairs. This is a delicate piece and not for everyday wear; we imagine her previous owner wore her solely for playing the pianoforte and embroidery.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
