A very beautiful and romantic vintage top quality Aquamarine and Diamond three stone ring hand crafted and ready to steal a heart! A variety of Beryl, the name Aquamarine comes from the Latin for seawater and historically the gem was believed to protect sailors at sea. This specimen gem has been repolished by our lapidary and assessed as AAAA quality, which is the very best quality deep sea blue colour. AAAA aquamarine is a rare and expensive gemstone that is primarily mined in Minas Gerais, Brazil and known as 'Santa Maria'. Accented by two bright and sparkly brilliant cut Diamonds, the whole mounted in Platinum which extends down the shoulders a little way and leads to the 18ct Yellow Gold band.
The ring size is an 'L' or '5.75' as is but we can easily alter to suit if you leave a message on your order form. There is a full hallmark inside the band which dates the ring to 1991 (Birmingham Assay). The Aquamarine weighs 1.23ct.
Most of our rings can be adjusted to fit for free, this can be done on purchase by making a note in the order form if you know the size, or at a later date if it is a gift.
