Circa 1950's, a vintage Masonic Cross ball which opens and closes with a 9ct Gold fastening. Of Gilded Silver which has a greyed patina, the masonic ball was originally worn in the 19th century as a discreet way to show ones membership to the Freemasons. At first sight appears to be a simple gold metal sphere. Once opened, it forms a cross which has intricate symbols all over it. It measures 17.79 across and is suspended from a 9ct yellow Gold ring.
