A pretty little Arts and Crafts style Silver pendant finely enamelled in graduated cool shades of icy grey and blue with Guilloche type lining underneath. Typical of the time, it would have been a most fashionable wear in her day.
Made by the firm of J Aitkin & Son in Birmingham and a full hallmark dates it to 1915. J. Aitkin & Son was established by John Aitkin in the late 19th century at premises in Spencer Street in the heart of Birmingham's famous Jewellery Quarter.
The Silver belcher chain measures 16 inches and the pendant 3.5cm including the articulated drop section.
